Bore is approximately .44 caliber. Barrel is 5"" and is half round half octagonal. Frame has tasteful scroll and leaf engraving. Grips are ""bag"" shape. Barrel is marked ""Sprague & Marston New York"". Action works perfectly. Grips have most of their original varnish. This is a very well made, if not overbuilt, single shot pistol. Very good overall condition.
