Description:
Early 1900s, (more than 77 years old) Very rare one gallon brown glass whisky bottle with original label. Raised lettering embossed on the bottle, around the shoulder says "Federal law prohibits sale or reuse of this bottle". Bottle measures 5-1/2" wide x 19" tall, and is in very good condition. Sorry, it's empty. On the upper left label it has two Illinois liquor tax stamps.This FINE cork top old bottle has the original paper label on the front. It still has an old cork.
My research tells me that Hudson's Bay makes a fine Scotch Whisky and has been in business since 1670. It is in excellent condition and has no chips, cracks or hairlines. Rich brown coloring.
Jim's quart whiskey bottle is not included.
