Description:
This Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger Badge produced by the firm Wilhelm Deumer is an absolutely amazing example. With the 2 piece construction consisting of a fire gold gilded brass eagle and nickle/silver wreath that has fantastic patina with amazing detail, this badge really would be hard to upgrade. There is no doubting this is a textbook Type B badge as produced by Deumer with no damage or repairs. The reverse shows a beautiful undisturbed patina and the Deumer makers mark as well as perfect undamaged pin, hinge, and catch. These early FJ badges are getting very hard to find on the open market, this is by far one of the best examples of this type out there by Deumer! Overall the Deumer made Paratrooper badges are some of the most sought after examples on the open market and this is one of the finest we've seen.
