Description:
Very rare Colt Pocket Model with a small iron triggerguard. Shumaker estimated only 125 were made. Jordan estimated 625 were made. There are has been as many as four other iron guard Pockets listed here at G.I. and all are Large guards. Prices $1695 to $3250 and none any where near the condition of my small guard.
All numberes matching including wedge and all finishes are original. Condition is as follows: 75 to 80% overall blue on barrel / 10 to 15% blue on cylinder with a full. deep cylinder scene / 85 to 90% of its smokey case hardening on the frame / 40 to 50% case hardening on the loading lever and hammer / 20 to 25% blue on the triggerguard and only traces on the back strap. The grip retains 99% varnish with a very few number of tiny dents. Trigger retains 60 to 70% blue. One of the best condition iron guard Pockets known. Shipping = $12.50 USPS Priority insured.
