COLT MODEL 1878 DOUBLE ACTION .45 LONG COLT CAL. 5 ½’ REVOLVER W/1892 SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA FACTORY LETTER AND ORIGINAL PERIOD HOLSTER. All original with exception of main spring which is a modern replacement. Very good overall with blue and patina mixed with some very fine salt and pepper corrosion overall. Factory original hard rubber Rampant Colt grips with the right grip a slightly darker period of use original replacement with even consistent wear with the left grip flat. Working order and very good bore. Nice looking overall. Circa 1900 Mexican loop holster with old brass tacks and silver concho mounts. Factory letter says was shipped to the Colt’s San Francisco Agency May 18, 1892. Very colorful outfit.
