Description:
"Made in 1881. 44-40 caliber with a 30" barrel. Metal has a smooth brown patina with some spot of pitting. Wood is very good. Butt stock is tacked on the right hand side of the butt stock. The tacks are square shanked and appear to be period. This is not a Indian gun though. Butt plate has pitting. Bore is strong rifling with some pitting. Very fine special order Winchester 1873 long barrel rifle!
