The Wilson Combat Experior is the most fully optioned series within the Wilson Combat family of 1911 style pistols blending classic design with modern reliability and ergonomic enhancements. It features the new WAVE frame rail clearance cuts that hold lubricants and reduce friction in adverse environments and the new TRAK grip texture creates superior recoil control while remaining comfortable to the hand.
The Experior Compact Double Stack comes standard with High-Capacity Compact Size Aluminum Frame, TRAK Texture on Frontstrap/Backstrap Treatment, Concealment Bullet Proof® Hammer, Bullet Proof® Thumb Safety, Bullet Proof® Magazine Release, Black G10 Aggressive Starburst Grips with Pewter Medallions, Countersunk Slide Stop, 4” Stainless Steel Slide (Standard 1911 Slide), Black DLC Finish on Slide, Battlesight with Red Fiber Optic Front Sight, 4” Stainless Match Grade Barrel, Flush Cut Reverse Crown, Fluted Chamber, Fluted Barrel, 30 LPI Slide Top Serrations, 40 LPI Serrated Rear of Slide, Wide Rear Cocking Serrations, Heavy Machine Chamfer on Bottom of Slide, Carry Cuts/Ball Endmill Cuts and Two 15-Round Capacity Magazines. Common requests are: -stock bending to suit your particular requirements -addition of any specified butt pad to increase length of pull -alteration of chokes to suit your shooting preferences -lengthening of chambers and forcing cones -darkening stock color with penetrating stains -restoring any part of the gun including rust blue, charcoal blue, bone and charcoal case color, wood restoration and checkering recuts.
