We offer you a “Gorgeous” Custom Target ~ Varmint rifle built on an FN Commercial 98 action using a G R Douglas heavy barrel with a Canjar set trigger.
The 26” heavy barrel has a taper to 7/8 inches at the muzzle. It is marked “G R DOUGLAS / 22-250”. The bore is excellent with no issues as is the bluing with no signs of wear or use. It wears Target Scope Block for a Unertl style scope. The FN Commercial Mauser action is not drilled and tapped with the bluing being in excellent condition as you can see. A Canjar set trigger was installed that is fully adjustable and is set to a crisp and light weight. When the trigger shoe is pushed forward the “set” does not engage. It might need adjusted or cleaned; I’m not sure about that. But it still works just fine without the set being used. The stock is in excellent condition as you can see with very little signs of use over the years. This is a very clean and classic build from days gone by and will last the new owner a lifetime.
