"British New Land Pattern Flintlock Pistol. Tower marked and “Crown GR" on Lock plate. Barrel length 9". Action work perfectly .65 Caliber. Barrel has a swivel, captive ram rod. Birmingham proofs on barrel. Note: Trigger guard bow is marked Q O R Y.C 225 for queens own regiment, yeomanry Cavalry 225 (Pistol Number). Pistol shows some definite Service use with surface wear and nicks and dings, but still rates good with no chips or cracks. Interesting pistol, especially with the regimental marks. Circa 1820.
