1949 SMITH & WESSON K38 OR K-38 TARGET MASTERPIECE .38 SPECIAL 6" BLUE REVOLVER. Serial number "K772XX" and all matching cylinder, grips, barrel and crane. Correct adjustable rear sight and front partridge. Factory wide (.500) target hammer(special order) and grooved trigger still have all their case color on them. Factory wide rib correct for early 1949 transition from earlier narrow rib(to add weight forward). Five screw frame with excellent screws. 95% original factory blue with balance at edges and sides of muzzle. Mint bore, rifling and chambers. Functions perfectly. Became the Model 14 later in the K38 evolution.
