"Alsop .36 Caliber Percussion Navy Standard Model Revolver. Circa 1862. 3 ½" Octagon barrel. Cylinder and barrel markings are clear and legible. Action works perfectly. Bore is good plus. Barrel has approximately 60% blue with some fading. Grips are good with edge wear to the original varnish. Approximately 500 made. Serial # 186. Note: This revolver has the fluted cylinder associated usually with First Model Alsops. This also has the correct patent dates. It does not have the First Model safety device.
