Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This is a beautiful all-original Daewoo Model DH40 Pistol in .40 S&W complete with the original box, owner's manual, and extra magazine imported by Kimber in 1995.  Imported by the well-known Kimber of Oregon firm from 1995 until 1997, the Korean-made Daewoo Model DH40 features a "tri-action" semi-auto design with their "fast action" feature, an alloy frame, a 4.1" inch stainless steel barrel, 3-dot combat style sights, an ambidextrous thumb safety, a 11-round magazine, a sand-blasted black finish, and checkered black plastic grips.  Daewoo's "tri-action" design works like a normal DA/SA automatic but adds the "fast action" feature, which allows the user to push the hammer forward to the down position from the cocked position which safely drops the hammer and reduces the double-action trigger pull to a fraction of the normal weight.  It is so good it really has to be felt to truly be appreciated.  This feature takes the place of a de-cocking lever but still allows the gun to be carried safely with the hammer down and one in the chamber, and makes the first trigger pull from that position more like a single-action trigger pull, which will greatly increase first round accuracy.  This particular example was bought new by the original owner, test fired one time and put into storage until now.  If not for two tiny spots of finish wear on either side of the slide at the muzzle from plastic box wear this Daewoo would rate 99 to 100%, as it sits it rates 98 to 99%.  Outside of those two little spots the factory finish is flawless, and shows no scratches, dings, dents, or marring.  The stainless steel barrel looks like-new both inside and out with no mechanical wear marks on the exterior or chamber area, and with a perfect, mirror-bright bore.  The rifling looks brand-new throughout the barrel and there are no visible imperfections whatsoever.  The factory grips are like-new as well, free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or wear of any kind.  The checkering is still crisp and clean, and the grips are perfectly fit and tight to the pistol.  The action on this Daewoo is slick, smooth, and precise.  Barrel lock-up is perfect when in battery, with no wiggle, slop, or grittiness.  The trigger on this pistol is excellent no matter what manner it is be operated in.  As mentioned before, the trigger is remarkable when using the "fast action" mode of operation.  All of the controls on this Daewoo are in perfect working order, and we have no doubt that this pistol will function just as smoothly and reliably today as the day it left Korea over 26 years ago.  The total round count thru this pistol is somewhere around 12 to 24 rounds, depending on how many the factory test-fired.  It has not even begun to be "broken in" yet and still has 99.9% of it's service life remaining. This DH40 comes complete with it's original box with serial-numbered end-label, owner's manual, and 2 factory 11-round magazines, all of which are in excellent condition.  If you have been looking for a high-quality and unique pistol to add to your collection as an investment, shooter, self-defense pistol, or some combination thereof, this 1995-mfg.
