This is a WWI era Colt 1911, Model of 1911 US Army, manufacturing date of 1918. It is marked UNITED STATES PROPERTY. This handgun has a full patina. This 1911 does show age but will make a very nice war era collection piece. Images will give a clearer picture of condition. .45 Auto
