Stevens had been making all sorts of firearms long before Savage bought them. This one, the Stevens 555 is super nice super light and super affordable.
26 inch barrels with 5 flush mount screw-in chokes. Very good for Skeet. Very good for hunting. Imagine the difference being out shooting birds all day with a 9+ lb browning
Compared to a 6 lb Stevens 555. A big difference and you will get the same number of birds on the range or out in the field. The wood is Turkish Walnut and it is stunning.
