WW2 SOVIET RUSSIAN IZHEVSK MOSIN NAGANT 1891/38 OR M91/38 M38 7.62X54R RIFLE, CIRCA 1942. 48 1/2" overall with 28 3/4" barrel. Serial "OP11xx" receiver and barrel mixed other period parts. Drilled and tapped receiver on left side for scope mounts. Finnish army 'SA" stamps over Izhevsk arsenal markings along with "1942". Nice period stock although missing barrel bands (springs present) and slot cuts in wood at muzzle end for who knows what. Correct flat rear sight but front sight missing blade. Very good bore. Import stamped at muzzle "CAI…". Easy parts to find and would be worth it cause nice bore and tight bolt lockup.
