Description:
This is a scarce, late WWII hard shell P38 German holster. Marked 1944 this represents some of the last hard shell holsters produced. Manufactured by Franz u. Karl Voegels Lederwarenfabrik (eWX) with “WX" still visible from and has partially visible Waffenamt feathered-winged eagle over WaA195 with large double cut “P.38" on the upper right (See Whittington's book German Pistols and Holsters 1934-1945, Vol. III, P62). The holster is in near excellent, used condition with soft, pliable leather showing numerous marks and scratches on the outer leather and metal closure surfaces with sound stitching. A great late war P.38 holster.
