Description:
Parker Bros. 12 gauge VH grade built in 1900. This gun has 30" Vulcan steel barrels choked full (.035") and full (.035"). The gun has been well used,but locks up tightly on face and functions perfectly. The receiver retains traces of case color and the barrels retain 90% of the original blue. The stock has an old repair but is sound and shows no cracks. The stock has been refinished at some time and retains the original dogs head buttplate. the interior of both barrels show light scaling but no deep pitting. The bore diameter of each barrel is .735" and the minimum wall thickness is .038" at the muzzle, so there is room to clean up the barrels if needed. The chambers are 23/4".I have patterned this gun and it throws amazing tight patterns. At 40 yards each barrel puts 95% of a 11/4 oz load of #5 shot in a 30 inch circle. It would make a great turkey gun or duck gun with bismuth shot. It is a solid older Parker that is a shooter with lots of use left in it. C&R eliglble.
