This is an unbelievable find - a rare 1911 Colt, made in 1913 and issued to the Marine Corp. The finish rates at about 90%, excellent condition with crisp markings. We previously sold this rig but it was later determined that the finish on the frame had been touched up or partially restored, so the consignor has lowered the asking price on it. It comes with all correct parts including the grips and barrel with the sideways H on the barrel. Early, rare two-tone mag with keyhole on spine. Bore has signs of use - minor wear to the rifling and frost but in good shape overall. Comes with the belt and holster. Holster marked USMC, and belt has the loop for Marine Corp sword. Also, a rarely seen 1918 mag pouch also marked USMC and with the USMC logo faintly stamped. A factory letter is included in the listing.
