Description:
From a mid-west sale, a very nice half stock Antique Heavy barrel Hawken style 50 caliber Percussion Rifle. The wood is solid and aged to a uniform color with no cracks however, there there is a small amount of wood missing on the forend (see photos). The stock is solid (not loose) and has a brass, two piece, patch box as well as brass crescent butt and trigger guard. The hammer screw is broken at the hammer (see photos). German silver nose cap, and one ram rod thimble, but missing ram rod. The metal finish blued with some oxidation (see photos). The gun is 53" over all length with a 36" octagon barrel that is 1 1/16" across the flats,(What I can see of the bore looks good....I have not cleaned this gun). The stock has a right hand cheek piece, double set triggers, elevation adjustable rear sight and Blade front sight. The lock is unmarked and the end of the muzzle is stamped "Weichold Cin. O." (see photos). I do not know the history of this maker and can not guarantee a gun this old will shoot however it appears, with a few repairs and a little TLC, this gun could be back in the field or on the target range. Since I can not guarantee the origins of this gun I am offering it with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, if it does not live up to your expectations in any way return it for a full and speedy refund including your return shipping (see my feedback).

We trade guns.

NO FFL REQUIRED....CAN BE SHIPPED TO A RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS.

I do not recommend firing any used weapon until it has been thoroughly examined by a certified gunsmith.
