HOPKINS & ALLEN XL No.3, this .32 rimfire, 5 round revolver, circa 1870's - 1880's.
Engraved in the Boston style, with the top strap is stamped,
"Hopkins & Allen Mfg. Co
XL No. 3
Pat. Mar. 28, 1871"
Half + the nickel finish remains, the cylinder indexes but the hammer
does not stay cocked. A nice example of these Hopkins & Allen XL's.
