Description:
Very nice 50 cal. rifle with T. Harimann in Whittenburg on top flat and Carl Seinem Lugwig dig. tul. 1869 on silver plate on the underside of the forearm. Beautiful Damascus patter on the barrel and ramrod pipets, exposed portion of barrel has a brown patina, barrel portion inside the stock is very clean and bright. Barrel 25 inches long, 15/16 at breech 7/8 at bore, twist approx 1:48, rifling in good condition. Barrel stamped 236 on bottom flat and 36 on breech plug. Set triggers, patch box, engraving on metal parts. European walnut stock, adjustable rear sight and button on the lower side of butt stock and hoop on barrel for sling. Weight 6.5 lbs. Check photos ask questions more photos are available. This rifle is unrestored and should be checked by a gunsmith before use.
