This Rock-Ola was produced in March of 1944. The Carbine's serial number is 6090105. It has the correct Rock-Ola undated barrel. The bore is bright with sharp lands. All of the parts are Rock-Ola coded. These parts are correct for the serial number range and date. The original finish would rate a strong 98% overall condition. The flat bolt has the correct style bluing. The type one barrel band is also Rock-Ola coded. The front sight is the correct stamped style with no code. All of the parts show light wear and use. This gun was fired very little. There is very little service wear or field use. The stock is in near new condition. The low wood stock and hand guard have the correct Rock-Ola RMC code. The butt plate is also correct for Rock-Ola. The trigger housing is the correct stamped style Rock-Ola housing for this gun. This is a extremely fine condition all original rare Rock-Ola carbine! Rock-Ola only produced 3.7% of the total production of M1 Carbines during the war. Their production run was around 228500 carbines.
