This Winchester was produced in May of 1944. The carbine's serial number is 5725837. This Winchester is all correct Winchester for the serial number range and production date. The bore is minty and bright. The bolt face shows no sign of being fired. The flat bolt has all of the original blue. The only blue loss is from cocking the action. This carbine has the seldom seen type two barrel band. The Winchester trigger housing parts are in new condition. The low wood stock has the correct stamps for the production run. This stock also has stunning figuring of the wood! The figuring shows on both sides of the stock. The handguard is the late style with four rivits. The Winchester metal finish would rate a strong 99% overall condition. The magazine is Winchester coded as well as the oiler. The sling is a correct late World War Two issue. This carbine is in the same condition as it left the factory in 1944! This carbine would be a stunning addition to any collection! The stock would be a real stand out in itself!
