Barrel is full length 32.5", two band military configuration with most of it's thinning blue brown finnish and is marked N.J. for New Jersey issue at one time. The Lock is marked US Springfield 1873 with the American Eagle. The early high arch-breach block is marked US Model 1873 with Eagle and crossed arrows. The but plate is marked US. The very good full length walnut stock has minor dents and handling marks. The lock, but plate, trigger gaurd, barrel bands and cleaning rod hold the majority of their thinning blue finish. Many early 1873 Springfield trapdoors were reissued to states after the Indian wars as this one to the state of New Jersey for its millita. Shipping will be actual cost approximately $50.00.
