Description:
Unusual method uses lead filled cavity to eliminate loading lever assembly . Spring loaded catch retains the cylinder pin. (probably had a small knob at one time) Method shown on pg.55 of R.Phillips book. Factory nickel about 70% with wear mostly on left side. Gun is a "first type" and not cleaned. Mechanically excellent with unhammered cylinder and excellent grips. A rare and unusual Remington factory large bore conversion.
