Description:
This monocular telescope with monocular revolver was produced by Secretan in Paris. Model X7246. Monocular revolver was designed for eye pieces however only two installed - 15x and 23x. There is an extendable sunshade. Telescope is made of solid brass and weighs about six pounds. It is 18" long and 18 1/2" with the sunshade extended. Metal parts have a grayish-green lacquer with several diaphragms located within the conical tube. There is a vertical with crosshairs for the military use of target and fire control. The serial numbers notes this as a civilian version. Came with the tag, inspected in San Antonio. Complete with leather carrying case and cased tripod.
