Description:
This is a Remington RB1 45-70 rolling block rifle. This rifle has a 29” blued barrel. It is a round barrel, with good blueing and a great bore. On the barrel is a dovetail mounted globe front sight with inserts, and a flip up elevation-adjustable rear sight. The receiver of this rifle is also blued, with no signs of wear. The hammer, block, etc. are all blued as well. The stock is also in good condition. The walnut stock is checkered at the wrist and forend, with only a small dent on the right side rear of the receiver. The buttplate is checkered and emblazoned with Remington’s emblem. This rifle also comes with the original sights (pictured on the gun). The length of pull is 14-½”, the overall length is 46-½”, and the weight is 8.6 lbs. Our stock number is #A248.
