Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are very proud to offer this fine example of a Hemenway New Model hammer double. It has the English craftsmanship we crave, and that has also helped it to survive this long. She still locks up tight, with the lever residing just to the right of center. The bores of the 30 inch "prize winning" Damascus barrels are very bright, both choked slightly tighter than modified. The chambers appear to be 2 5/8, and would be good candidates for RST loads. The nicely detailed engraving is still sharp and clear, and the hammer springs are strong. The Prince of Wales stock has an LOP of 14 3/8 inches, capped by a stag scene butt plate. The forend is a bit ragged at the edges, but still does its job. If you have been looking for an engraved English double, but don't want to break the bank, or, you just want a 2 digit serial number, then look no further. Ships direct to your door.
