Description:
1942 ar code serial # 4242 in very excellent condition. This Mauser shoots as good as it looks with a very clean bright bore with sharp rifling. All the main componets have matching serial numbers. The waffen marks match the barrel to the receiver thats stamped 4242. The receiver matches to the bolt thats serial numbered 4242 in two locations. The stock is serial numbered 4242 both on the inside and out. The floor plate and magazine cover all so match. There are many matching waffen marks as well as intact inspection stamps. The two front bands do not match. I bought these rifles in bulk when that was possible some years back and only kept the Mauser with exceptional accuracy and bores. Lastly I picked the best looking rifles from the lots. This rifle is over all in excllent condition with minimal cosmetic wear. It operates flawlessly. Michales Mausers select grade.
