This Belgium Browning Superposed B25, Grade P3, 12ga. has, 28in barrels, Multichokes, vent rib. The gun locks up very tight and breaches the same., showing little wear. Field 3 screw forearm. The wood reflects near an exhibition grade of fine marble cake French Walnut.
We have seen many Browning Superposed Diana. MIdas and Presentation guns, this is our first Single Select Trigger B25, P3. Gun appears as new. Sporting an English/Straight Grip with engraved Long Tang. The Serial Number 76675 S7 (Dates this gun to 1967, NO SALT).The engraving on this gun is very sharp on point and very complimentary to the gun is the French Gray. Receiver and forearm iron.
All checkering is also on point and very sharp. The Exhibition Grade wood appears to be of French Walnut and lockbox engraving shows as near new. These guns were created by special order to achieve in the day a buyers vision and taste while the B25 line was promoted with distribution from FN Belgium Browning Division to mostly the European and UK markets. Additionally, this gun has a sub-guage tube set (20, 28 and .410ga) in a RED FELT lined beautifully cased with tools.
This gun shows as near new and has many features as mentioned to be a true Sporting, Skeet Target, Sporting Clay or as a highly collectable piece that will surely increase in value over time and to be a classic show piece in any collection. I think the gun also shows various documents to accompany this fine gun to show provenance.
