Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company Model A-10 American, Rose & Scroll type 12ga O/U shotgun. The CSMC A-10 shotgun has made a reputation for itself as a high-end, premium quality shotgun, both elegant in aesthetics and built to work with impeccable reliability in the field. The following is a sample description from CSMC on the A-10 Rose & Scroll type shotgun;
"Factory hidden screw in chokes, field forend, highly figured exhibition American black walnut, long tang straight grip stock, factory recoil pad, London oil finish, gold oval, single selective trigger, full coverage miniature rose and scroll engraving over a traditional bone and charcoal color case hardened finish, hidden hand detachable locks, adjustable position trigger, automatic safety, vent rib, automatic ejectors, the A10 is the most elegant yet robust true full sidelock shotgun available."
This particular A-10 is used but in excellent working order with tight on-face barrels, excellent bores, and a superb trigger for both barrels. Some signs of regular use are present, in the form of small scratches in areas, some wear on the leather wrapped buttpad, as shown. The shotgun was manufactured as part of a set, as this gun is inlayed with a gold number "1", and was made for an individual whose name is tooled onto the leather owners manual pouch. The shotgun includes a factory fitted hard case, manuals, a set of chokes and tools, as well as barrel weights. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase. A truly beautiful shotgun, heirloom quality, and a workhorse as well! 14.5" LOP.
