Description:
There are a fair amount of Hitler Youth knives on the market today. There are reproductions, usually in great condition, and authentic ones, usually in not so great condition. This one is authentic AND in grerat condition. You are not likely to find a better one than this genuine WWII bring-back.
- Metal Handle & Hilt are bright. with no breaks or pitting in the Nickle Plating.
- Diamond Swastika colors are crisp and clear.
- Black Plastic handles are unblemished.
- Logo passes the authenticity test of a rocking movement.
- Proper leather washer at hilt is intact and undamaged
- Blade appears to have been lightly sharpened and remains bright with scuffs and scratches from drawing in and out of the metal scabbard.
- Proper RZM logo and M7/36 on blade indicating manufacture by E. u .F. Horster of Solingen.
- Original and authentic metal Scabbard is solid with minor scuffs and scratches that appear to have been touched up. Leather belt hanger and snap are fully intact with little sign of wear.
