Description:
Another “ESTATE” firearm listing brought to you from Dust 2 Dollars. Unlike most sellers here, Dust 2 Dollars shows the complete gun in our pictures along with a detailed description for your consideration.
We offer you a “Gorgeous” Smith & Wesson Model 18 K22 Combat Masterpiece 4-screw 4 Inch Revolver in the Original Box manufactured in 1958.
The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The yoke cut is marked “K348093 / “MOD. 18”. The yoke assembly number is “97664” and with inspection marks "M" and a "4". The right side of the barrel is marked “22 LONG RIFLE CTG” and the frame is marked with the four line Marcas Registradas address. The right side plate is marked with the S&W logo. The butt is marked “K348093”. The left grip frame assembly number is “97664” with the inspection mark "M".  The underside of the ejector star is marked "348093". The right grip panel is not marked with a serial number. However the grips are correct for the gun and the staining on the inside as shown indicate they have been on the pistol for a very long time. The box has the matching serial number on the bottom but has faded over the last 63 years.
The bluing is in excellent condition with very, very light thinning at the muzzle. The bore, chambers, timing and lock-up are excellent with no issues. Both grips are in excellent condition as you can see with no cracks or chips. Overall this is a very fine 4-screw version of this iconic Smith & Wesson revolver.
SALE PENDING!
All firearms come with a 3-day non-firing or disassembly inspection from D2D’s.
