Description:
Boxlocks - What an example of Sauers best work. Light as a 16g. and with stunning engraving and beautiful wood. This gun would have been built before WWI. I would call this a grade 40 but I have not seen a grade 40 with this deep and detailed engraving on the fences. I suspect it was a special order. The "Safe" being in English reflects that this gun was probably for the American market, probably sold by Charles Daley of New York.
