Description:
I am offering a beautiful all original 1958 Marlin model 336 R.C. chambered in 35 Remington, serial number R16620. Pre safety, JM Marlin, made in the New Haven, CT. factory.
This Marlin shows very little use, with 98% bluing, except for a couple of small scratches on the barrel, and the right side of the barrel band. The original varnish is 99%. There are two chips out of the rubber butt plate. I tried to capture the flaws in the pictures. The action is tight and smooth, showing little wear. The bore is near new and shiny. All markings and addresses are clear and sharp. There are no extra holes, no cracks or splits.
