Description:
Total production being about 38,000 rifles between summer 1940 and spring 1941, this rifle was found too cumbersome for too little benefit and was replaced by the Type 99 Short Rifle. 7.7 Japanese

Metal Condition: "Fair-Good, there are signs of old corrosion on the receiver and bottom metal. The protective wings on the front sight have been bent out of position. Some of the original fittings are missing. The mum have been ground off.
Wood Condition: "Fair-Good, largely free of damage and handling marks save a crack running from the receiver tang forward under the bolt up to the receiver on the right side.
Bore Condition: "Fair-Good, dull, rifling with a clean and shiny bore.
