Very Rare Colt Baby Paterson No.1 Ehlers Model. .28 caliber 5-shot revolver with a 3" barrel. Nice sharp gun that has been refinished long ago. We believe this was either done by John Street or Sedgley. Barrel address is visible although faint in areas. Very good cylinder scene. Grips are excellent. This is serial number 232 and is all matching. This gun is an Ehlers model that is a bit rarer than the standard Baby Paterson. This gun comes in a book casing that is modern made but aged to look period. The mold is a correct Paterson mold. The other accessories are not original Paterson pieces. This gun and set were from the late Paul Sorrell Collection. Mr. Sorrell was an expert on early Colts and had approximately 17 Colt Paterson’s in his collection.
