None finer. Mint condition B&L Baltur 2 1/2x rifle scope with B&L mounts. No handling marks, clear glass with no scratches. Optically bright. These vintage Rochester, N.Y. Bausch & Lomb products are among the finest ever made and rivaled the best European glass of their time. Superb quality throughout. Adjustments for windage and elevation are made on the mounts themselves. This scope has S/N GU7750 which I understand to have been made in 1963. Here is what B&L had to say in their advertisement of the day: "This power scope is the favored one for hunting in brush or for any medium-range situation. Very wide field of view and large exit pupil make it even easier to use than iron sights, particularly for snap shots. Externally adjusted; requires B&L Custom Mount." Several reticles were available, this one is a standard cross hair. The last photo is an electronic image of a period advertisement showing the scope's various specs, there is no actual page included with the scope.
