Description:
Winchester .308 Win. put-together from model 54 and 70 parts.
Gun has a model 54 action, bolt and bottom metal, and a model 70 featherweight .308 Win. barrel and stock.
Bolt has been cut and welded to accomodate a scope, and action has been drilled and tapped. Weaver bases are included.
22" barrel.
Well used with much bluing wear and nicks, dings and scrapes to the stock.
both barrel sights are missing and dovetails are left open.
Bore is bright with strong rifling.
Safety is stiff but does seem to work ok.
Would make a good beginner rifle.
