Description:
SOLD Pending Funds *** This Winchester Model 1200 has a barrel length of 28 inches with a fixed modified choke and is a 12 gauge, manually operated, slide action shotgun. The stock has a length of pull of 14-1/8" to a factory installed red Winchester recoil pad and a capped pistol grip with a very decorative "W" on the cap. The drop at the comb is 1-1/4" and the drop at the heel is 2-1/4". This gun can hold a maximum of five rounds with four in the tubular magazine and one in the chamber. It has a hammerless action and there is an internal hammer which strikes the firing pin and has a golden end bead for sighting orientation. The Model 1200 was the second shotgun to utilize a rotary bolt with four locking lugs secured within the barrel extension. The gun weighs 7 pounds and has nearly 100% of the blueing and 100% of the wood finish that it left the factory with 53 years ago, in 1968.
