Description:
Colt SAA single action Colt Frontier Six Shooter in 44-40 with etched panel. 7 1/2 barrel. A well used cowboy gun with natural grey patina throughout from age and cleanings over its lifetime. This gun dates to 1883. All matching serial numbers on trigger guard, backstrap and frame. Actions has all clicks.
According to Cochran’s book this year often did not have barrel or cylinder serial numbers. This gun does not but has the .44 caliber marking on barrel. Etched panel is soft but visible.
