Here is a Parker Hale Musketoon. This is a low serial #, 73xx, so made in England. Bore and action are in great shape; the exterior, not so much. This may have been intentionally antiqued or maybe a NS skirmisher owned it. The bluing is pretty well gone from the barrel and much of the stock's varnish is gone though the more I look at it, the more it looks like an amateur antiqueing job rather than normal wear. 24" barrel. This will make the next owner a good shooter and a dandy deer rifle during muzzle-loader season. Despite the outer condition, the gun itself is in excellent shape other than cosmetically and even then there is no pitting of the metal and no major dings and dents or cracks in the stock. These made in England versions were supposedly made on the same tooling as the Enfields supplied to both sides during our War Between the States. $40 shipping and insurance via priority mail to your house in most states.
