WW2 AUSTRALIAN LITHGOW SMLE NO.1 MK.3* .303 CAL. INFANTRY RIFLE DATED 1941. All original, matching and complete in excellent condition. Receiver stamped “MA/LITHGOW/S.M.L.E./III*/1941”. Matching stock and handguard with numbered to the gun and stamped “D/BROAD ARROW/D” Very nice overall with nearly all the parkerized finish on metal and all the finish on the wood. Bore with good rifling with dark frosting that will clean well. Perfect working order. Nice example.
