Unusual Smith & Wesson .38 cal. Military and Police, model 1905 revolver, with spectacular 1920's vintage carved mother of pearl steer head grips! 5" barrel. Matching serial #'s on barrel, cylinder, and butt. Good mechanics, good/very good bore, all factory markings are clear and nice. The rare and unusual pearl grips have a large steer head carved on the right side. (see pics). Possibly law enforcement related out of the southwest, Texas or Arizona region. This is a great looking old gun! FFL or C&R required for transfer. NO sales to CA.
