Description:
This is a high condition Winchester Model 1886 made in 1891. The rifle has a case color frame with just a touch of color under the lever in the protected area. Both sided of the frame have a nice case color silver with no pitting and a light patina. The 26" octagon barrel is in great condition with an ever blue/brown patina that matches the mag tube. The barrel still have a nice shine and again is free from any pitting. The walnut forearm is in very good condition with frontier marks and thinning finish. The butt stock has dings and dents with strong finish. The crescent butt plate has a touch of case color on the top if you use your imagination just a little. The bore in this fine antique rifle is outstanding. All in all a great rifle to collect or go on a classic hunt. .40-82 WCF
