Description:
On Hold Sale Pending.  I believe this to be a 1777 French Charleville flintlock musket converted to percussion dated 1807 on the barrel probably imported during the civil war and shortened to carbine length for use on horseback. The carbine length stock is good a but has a crack near the lock screws (see photo) with the name Vivier.  The lock is marked Charleville and functions fine. The 26.5 inch barrel is dated 1807.  All metal parts have a brown patina with some scattered light pitting.  There are also some numbers and markings on the stock opposite the lock and side plate.  Shipping will be actual cost by priority mail approximately $40.00.  Feel free to call or email me chriskobberdahl2gmail or 218-839-9272.
