Description:
Winchester Model 52C Sporter .22 lr bolt action rifle. The 52C was the last in the series of arguably the most sought after “adult” .22 rifle ever. The improvements on the 52C included the easily adjust trigger and the drilled and tapped receiver compared to its predecessor the 52B. This one made in 1956.
The overall condition of the Sporter is 95-97% with just a few light handling marks on both the stock and the metal, but no major scratches or gouges…just a nice example of a 52C Sporter.
What sets this rifle apart from almost all others is the truly spectacular figure in the factory stock..both sides are beautiful.
Perfect bore and perfect mechanics.
Please note: The bolt handle was altered to accommodate a lower mounted scope! There is no sling.
Sometimes referred to as the Super Grade of Winchester 22's this is one of the best.
