The lever below the trigger guard swivels to the side and the front bow of the trigger guard pivots forward allowing the hinged barrel and cylinder to swing up and back for loading the front bow of the trigger guard can then be pushed forward to allow the cylinder ejector to push out thus ejecting the spent casing. This very unusual revolver works perfectly in single or double action. The barrel is 5.75"" and has a slim rib with a narrow channel. The grips have some wear and are not cracked or repaired. The bottom of the butt has a stud with lanyard ring, suggesting possible police or military use. Barrel is marked in small lettering ""Cast Steel"". Serial number is 428 but this is the only example we have seen in 60 years! SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
