Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are so proud to offer this fine example of a J&W Tolley classic double. Having been in London and Birmingham, this one was made in the London years. Made around the year of our Lord 1905, she is in fine condition for being 115 years old. The blue is deep and lustrous, thinning around the muzzle. The nicely figured walnut is well checkered and has only minor handling marks. I love the long stiletto tipped lower tang. The coin finished receiver is finely engraved, including the screws. The bores of the 26 inch tubes are gleaming, and the chokes are 15 and 40 thousandths. Ejectors toss the empties, and the safety is automatic. She locks up tight, and the lever resides just to the right of center. The measurements are quite modern, with an LOP of 14 5/8 inches to the checkered butt, and drops of 1 7/16 and 2 1/8 inches. She weighs in at a svelte 5 3/4 pounds. The muzzles touch, and the barrels are of original length. She is a pleasure to carry and point, and ready for another lifetime of service. If you are looking for the right Brit to collect, for investment, or a classy upland hunt, then look no further.
