This semi-automatic .30 Inland M1 Carbine was the standard weapon for U.S. servicemen during WWII, the Korean War and also in Vietnam. The M1 Carbine was created to address concerns regarding its much heavier predecessor, the M1 Grand. At only 35.6" in length and weighing in at 5.8 lbs fully-loaded, the M1 Carbine's compact design and manueverability were ideal for infantry troops in both Europe and the Pacific. The largest manufacturer of this carbine was the war-time branch of the General Motors Company, the Inland division. However, other reptuable names were called upon to up the production, such as IBM. This M1 Carbine comes with its sling, a curved banana clip and has been well-maintained, preserving this timeless piece of history.
